Neighborhood Egg Hunt

The rain let up just in time for our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt this morning ~ whew!


Emily broke into a run with most of the kids when the hunt began, while Abby took a more meandering approach to egg-gathering. Carson was past ready for his nap, so he just chilled in the stroller and took everything in.

What it means to be a friend:

Emily ~ It means you be nice and you play with that person and you help them if they get hurt.

Abby ~ Be nice, play with them and do a lot of stuff with them. And sometimes we don't, but we're still friends.

We SO enjoyed having my good friend, Kim Ritton, and her 3 daughters visit over the weekend. What a great treasure to have such a wonderful friend in my life (since high school!), and to see our children develop friendships too. We missed you, Kris!
